Parametrix Expands Capabilities in New Mexico
Parametrix announced that Vector Engineering, LLC has joined Parametrix to expand the firm’s capabilities in New Mexico and the Southwest. Vector, founded in 2007, specializes in transportation planning, design, and traffic engineering. They will operate as Parametrix and join the current staff in the firm’s Albuquerque office. This expansion allows Parametrix to provide a broader range of services and solutions for the firm’s Southwest client base.

“This expansion strengthens our presence in New Mexico and the Southwest and enables us to offer a broader range of services to our clients. The strengths Vector brings to Parametrix are well-matched with our core competencies firmwide,” said Jeff Peacock, Parametrix CEO.

Founded in 1969, Parametrix provides services in the core practice areas of transportation, environmental planning and compliance, water, and community building across the western United States. Established in New Mexico in 2002, the Parametrix Albuquerque office provides cultural and natural resources consulting to a wide variety of clients and will now be able to offer complimentary transportation planning and design services under one roof. Chris Baca, founder of Vector, will lead the Parametrix New Mexico operations as principal overseeing the Albuquerque operations.

”We are excited to embark on the partnership in which our two firms cultures and technical areas of expertise complement each other so well” commented Chris Baca. “Our firms share a commitment to sustainable growth, developing our people, and improving the quality of life in the communities we serve”.
