Spring District | Parametrix

Client: Wright Runstad & Company

The Spring District is a 36-acre environmentally sustainable, urban mixed-use neighborhood planned for the former Safeway distribution facility. The emerging urban neighborhood will have over 4 million square feet of office space with supporting retail amenities, up to 1,000 multi-family residences, and a 16-acre open space plan. Open spaces will include a turf athletic field, a large park, and several plazas and green spaces. Pedestrian, bicycle, vehicular, and mass-transit connections will give occupants a range of transportation options. Parametrix has participated in the master planning and design process providing land use permitting, surveying, and civil design. The site features several LID best practices, and the Spring District is being designed to meet the LEED-Neighborhood Development standards.
