what we do

Asset, Records, & Inventory Management

Helping clients document infrastructure knowledge

Parametrix develops solutions to help clients document historical information and the condition of assets including campus infrastructure and buildings, utilities, and roadways. We created an interactive asset and records management (ARM) software tool to organize and archive campus and facilities information. We also combine high definition surveying and feature-extraction software to conduct inventories of assets within public right-of-ways.

Naval Base Kitsap Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Study
Kitsap County, Washington
Client: Naval Base Kitsap
Partner: Newton Building & Development

To assist Naval Base Kitsap in managing their sanitary sewer system, Parametrix mapped, cataglogued, and compiled data in an integrated database. The study encompassed installations at Bangor, Indian Island, Keyport, and PSNS & IMF Bremerton. Infrastructure that was mapped included over 64,000 feet of sanitary sewer force mains, over 60 lift stations, and over 100,000 feet of gravity sewer main. The team used GPS-based survey equipment to input and modify line and point attribute data into CADD drawings. This data was used to create the database linking photos and videos to CADD drawings. The database makes it easy to monitor and review field conditions of the sanitary sewer system.
