City Center Access Study | Parametrix
City Center Access Study
Federal Way, Washington
Client: City of Federal Way

The I-5 and South 320th Street interchange experienced high congestion, limiting the City’s long-range plans to develop higher density residential, office, and retail in the City’s central core. This study evaluated new ramps at either South 312th Street or South 324th Street to help relieve congestion. Parametrix completed a NEPA environmental assessment, interchange justification report, and preliminary design plans. Key environmental issues included evaluating Section 4(f ) effects, environmental justice, and impacts to a sphangum bog, and a protected plant species.
