Seattle, WA – Parametrix has hired Matt Austin, PE as a senior engineer in the firm’s Seattle office. He has over 10 years of experience providing utility designs for various-scale utility relocation and new infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining Parametrix, Austin was a project engineer at HDR. His experience includes significant coordination with municipalities, water/sewer utility districts, and franchise utility providers. He has provided utility relocation and infrastructure design for Sound Transit’s Link light rail extensions in Federal Way, Tacoma, and SeaTac.

Austin will join the firm’s water solutions division municipal group. He will be leading utility designs for many of our local clients as well as assisting with business development in the Seattle area.
