Seattle, WA –John Palewicz, AIA, DBIA, LEED has joined Parametrix as a Senior Consultant in the firm’s Seattle office. He has over 40 years of industry experience, specializing in alternative project delivery methods for public agency projects.

Palewicz comes to Parametrix after more than two decades with the University of Washington’s Capital Planning and Development office where he managed general contractor/construction manager and design-build projects totaling over $1.2 billion. His project experience includes Husky Stadium, Montlake Triangle Project, Molecular Engineering and Sciences, New Law School, Computer Sciences, Savery Hall Renovation, Husky Baseball Ballpark, West Campus Utility Plant, PACCAR Hall for the Business School, Intramural Activities Building, and the Conibear Shellhouse.

He will join Parametrix’s Community Building division, providing expertise for design-build and alternative delivery projects.

Palewicz is recognized as an authority on alternate project delivery methods for public agency projects and has served on a number of related State committees. He is immediate past chair and a current member of the State’s Capital Projects Advisory Review Board Project Review Committee. He is also a member of the CPARB committee that recently developed Design-Build best practices, and is the Chairman of the Oversight Committee for the Seattle School District’s Building for Excellence program.
