01.23.18 Parametrix to Provide Design and Environmental Services for I-5 at Aurora Donald Interchange Project
Portland, OR – Parametrix will have a significant role on the David Evans and Associates, Inc. team that was selected by the Oregon Department of Transportation for the I-5 at Aurora Donald Interchange project.
Vehicles back up on the I-5 northbound and southbound interchange ramps daily during the morning and evening commutes, creating serious safety concerns with high-speed freeway vehicle traffic and stopped or slow-moving exit ramp traffic. The I-5 at Aurora Donald Interchange Phase 1 project will fix these safety issues and improve operations to keep people and freight moving efficiently through the area.
The first stage will include integrated delivery of an interchange area management plan (IAMP), conceptual design, and environmental documentation. Parametrix’s Bill Ciz will serve as the IAMP Task Lead.
