02.23.18 Josh Channell, AICP Joins Parametrix
Portland, OR – Josh Channell, AICP has joined Parametrix as a Senior Transportation and Environmental Planner in the firm’s Portland office. He has 14 years of experience as an urban planner and multi-modal transportation specialist managing planning and environmental compliance work for transportation and economic development projects.
Channell comes to Parametrix from ICF in Portland where he served as an Environmental and Transportation Planner. Prior to that, he served as Department Manager for Environmental Planning at HNTB in Northern California. Josh has been actively involved in all phases of transportation projects, moving them from initial constraints evaluations and alternatives selection, through environmental clearance and project approvals, to managing construction phase environmental performance. His project experience includes the California High-Speed Rail Project, the Presidio Parkway Public-Private Partnership, new expressways and interchanges, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane additions, and transit capacity expansions.
At Parametrix, Channell will support transportation projects for local and state agency clients in Oregon and Washington.
