06.28.18 City of Albuquerque Selects Parametrix to Provide Design Services for Alameda Drain Trail
Albuquerque, NM – Parametrix has been selected by the City of Albuquerque for the Alameda Drain Trail project. Parametrix will be the technical lead for trail design and will provide public involvement, agency coordination, and overall design coordination.
The Alameda Drain Trail project will enhance the corridor by creating a shared use path that provides multi-modal connectivity in the North Valley, while supporting and promoting the important function served by the Alameda Drain. The City's portion of Alameda Drain Trail covered by this project will connect the existing Matthew Avenue trail on the south with the County's portion of the Alameda Drain Trail project starting at Montano Road, which will ultimately be extended to Paseo del Norte. This will result in a six-mile long trail segment that will be part of a 13-mile pedestrian and bicycle friendly loop around the North Valley.
