First Continuous Flow Intersection in New Mexico Opens to Public

Albuquerque, NM - The US 550/NM 528 intersection in Bernalillo, NM opened to traffic on November 10, 2021. The Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) is the first of its kind in the state. Currently, 50,000 drivers pass through this intersection each day and that number is expected to increase.A CFI improves traffic flow and reduces delays by allowing left turns and through movements on opposite approaches to occur at the same time. Bend, OR – Parametrix has added two new staff to their Bend, Oregon office. Pete Bozin, PE and Dustin Elmore, PE join the firm as Senior Engineers supporting the firm’s site development and data center work. Pete Bozin, PE has 14 years of experience in design and construction, including data center and railway projects. He comes to Parametrix from Fortis Construction, Inc. where he served as a senior project engineer, assisting in the management of three data center projects.
