We’re thrilled to have several interns joining us at Parametrix this summer! We strive to provide challenging, hands-on project experience to students entering our industry. Inspiring young professionals early in their career is critical for the future of our profession and for our purpose of restoring the health of the planet for future generations.
Meet Ryan Cooper, an intern with our Spokane Transportation division. He is from Cashmere, WA and is currently attending Gonzaga University, majoring in civil engineering.
Why did you choose an internship at Parametrix?
I chose to intern with Parametrix due to the variety of projects they work on and to gain skills and insights for the engineering profession I’m entering soon.
What would you like to accomplish during your internship?
During my time in this internship, I would like to hone my skills as an engineer and learn what types of projects I am passionate about.
What is your ultimate career goal?
My ultimate career goal is to put myself in a position to work on and design quality projects that I am passionate about and make a difference.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, and traveling.
