Nathan Johnson, PhD, PE to Lead Southwest Region of Parametrix

Nathan Johnson, PhD, PE, Senior Vice President, has been selected to lead the Southwest region of Parametrix, which includes offices in New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada. He brings over two decades of experience building teams and delivering transportation needs including highways, roads, transit, and rail from planning and funding through environmental clearance, design, and construction.
Nathan joined Parametrix in May 2022. He has previously held national architecture and engineering leadership roles focused on delivering structural transportation projects. He has supported cities, counties, metropolitan planning organizations, state departments of transportation, and contractors across the Western United States, with particular focus in California and Nevada. Nathan has delivered high profile community-centered projects and multi-billion-dollar corridors. He also has expertise in urban, river, and coastal environments.
Parametrix’s Southwest offices provide planning, environmental, engineering, survey, and visualization services to public agencies and private clients. In this role, Nathan will support the firm’s strategic growth goals by expanding the firm’s service offerings and geographic footprint across the Southwest from New Mexico to California.
