Parametrix Grows Transportation Practice in San Diego

San Diego, CA – Parametrix has hired two Senior Consultants in San Diego to join the firm’s growing transportation practice in California.

A man wearing a collared shirt with blue tie and blue jacketPaul Morel, PE has over 22 years of experience working on bridge planning, design, and seismic retrofit projects in San Diego County and Orange County. Morel comes to Parametrix from Parsons where he served as Bridge Engineering Manager. His recent experience includes the SR-91/SR-71 Interchange and I-15/SR-91 Express Lane Connector Design-Build projects for Riverside County Transportation Commission. He also served as lead bridge designer on the Mid-Coast Corridor Transit project in San Diego.

Sanders comes to Parametrix from Kleinfelder where he served as a Project Manager and Senior Bridge Engineer. His project experience includes the San Diego International Airport Terminal 1 Replacement, Los Angeles World Airports Automated People Mover, Mid-Coast Corridor Transit project, and California High Speed Rail, Palmdale to Burbank Segment.

At Parametrix, Morel and Sanders join the firm’s practice in California with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, and infrastructure specialists.
