Seattle, WA – Engineering News-Record has released its annual Top Design Firms list, which ranks firms based on revenue for design services performed in the previous year. This year Parametrix was ranked 143, up nine spots from 2023. Parametrix has been ranked in the top 500 design firms for over 25 years.

Last year the firm generated $185 million in design revenue, the largest share of which was in the transportation sector, followed by sewer/waste and water supply.

Some of the firm’s largest projects by total revenue in 2023 were the Interstate Bridge Replacement program, the SH-16 Phase 3 project with the Idaho Transportation Department, Olympic Region Gorst Area Fish Passage Removal with the Washington State Department of Transportation, and the LOTT Clean Water Alliance Biological Treatment Process Digester.
