Engineering News Record has released its annual Top Environmental Firms list, which ranks firms based on revenue for environmental services performed in the previous year. This year, Parametrix ranked 133. This is the firm’s 25th year appearing on the list.
The top 200 firms’ combined environmental services revenue reached a new high of $138.9 billion this year.
Parametrix generated $66.3 million in environmental revenue, representing 43% of the firm’s total revenue. Of that environmental revenue, environmental science and wastewater treatment services made up 80%. The remainder was generated by hazardous waste, air quality/clean energy, water supply and treatment, and environmental management services. The majority of the firm’s environmental clients are state and local agencies.
Parametrix’s environmental services offerings include climate change and resiliency consulting, biological sciences and Endangered Species Act, ecosystems, industrial compliance, investigation and remediation, National Environmental Policy Act documentation, and solid and hazardous waste.
