Oregon Business has released their 2023 100 Best Green Workplaces in Oregon list. Parametrix ranked #82. This is the second year in a row that Parametrix has appeared on the list, ranking #89 in 2022.
The award was presented on June 1, 2023 at the Corporate Social Responsibility Seminar hosted by Oregon Business in Portland. Oregon/Idaho Senior Vice President Richard Roché and Business Manager Ann Harrison accepted the award on behalf of Parametrix.
The list showcases companies and nonprofits whose employees rate their employers’ sustainability efforts highly. Parametrix has 144 Oregon employees based in offices in Portland, Bend, and Eugene.

Our Portland office is in a LEED Platinum complex which conducts regular energy audits. Bamboo flooring, carpet made from recycled materials, and blackout curtains were installed. The property installed an on‑site system to treat 100 percent of gray and black water and store it for flushing and irrigation, saving 7.3 million gallons yearly. The office is located conveniently near transit and features bike storage and locker room facilities to make walking, biking, and riding transit to work convenient for employees.
Parametrix staff includes Envision Sustainability Professionals (ENV SP), Greenroads (STP), and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professionals (LEED AP) and Green Associates (LEED Green Associate).
In January 2023, Parametrix acquired Eugene-based Good Company, adding research and management consulting services in food, energy, water, transportation, shelter, materials management, clean tech, and other infrastructure. Service offerings include measurement of social and environmental performance, greenhouse gas inventories, climate and sustainability plans and tracking systems, and market research and feasibility studies for environmentally and socially aware businesses.
