Boise, ID – The 2026 Best Places to Work in Idaho list has been published. Parametrix ranked No. 7 for small employers in Idaho. The firm also placed No. 2 in the Southwest Idaho competition for small employers. These awards were announced during a live stream on May 7.
Rankings are based on employee feedback gathered from an anonymous survey. This is the third year that Parametrix has participated in the competition, ranking No. 7 in 2025 for small employers in Idaho.

Parametrix established its presence in Idaho in 2003 with an office in Boise. In 2016, the firm added an office in Coeur d’Alene with the acquisition of Taylor Engineering. Parametrix has approximately 40 staff in Idaho providing services in general civil engineering, transportation planning and design, environmental, survey, and cultural resources.
