Boise, ID – Engineering News-Record (ENR) Mountain States has released the 2024 Top Design Firms list. Parametrix ranked no. five in the transportation market segment, no. seven in civil engineering, and no. 15 overall based on revenue generated in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.

Parametrix has 21 licensed professional engineers in the Intermountain region, which includes offices in Coeur d’Alene and Boise, Idaho; and Salt Lake City, Utah. The firm’s largest project to break ground in the region last year was the SH-16, Franklin Road to Ustick Road in Ada County, Idaho.

In 2023, the firm’s mountain state offices generated over $25 million in design revenue. 73% of that revenue came from transportation projects, 21% from telecommunications, and 4% from general building.

“We’re proud to serve the Intermountain region with quality engineering, planning, survey, and environmental services. It’s an honor to contribute to critical infrastructure in this rapidly growing region,” said Parametrix Operations Manager, Kristen McCoy.
