New Orleans, LA – The Water Environment Federation (WEF) recognized the 2026 Class of WEF Fellows during the WEFTEC Conference in New Orleans on Monday, September 28. Among them was John Phillips, Director of Integrated Watershed Management at Parametrix.
The WEF Fellows program honors members who demonstrate exceptional professional achievement, provide leadership within the profession, and make lasting contributions to protecting public health and the environment.
Phillips has over 20 years of experience in the water sector, specializing in integrated watershed management, water quality, and climate resilience. He is a past-president and current member of the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association (PNCWA). He has been a member of PNCWA and WEF since 2007.
“His innovative programs, technical contributions, and hands-on WEF community service continue to create lasting benefits for communities and the water sector,” stated WEF in an announcement.
