Goshen, Utah, is a picturesque small town of just under 1000 people located about 70 miles south of Salt Lake City. Parametrix partnered with the Utah Department of Transportation to design a multi-use trail along the town’s Center Street.
The path considers the needs of all users, improving pedestrian safety and connecting with nearby Goshen Elementary School. The project includes two new rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) crossings. The trail connects to Goshen Elementary School, providing a safe route for students to get to school. The project was funded by the Mountainland Association of Governments.
