Since 2009, Parametrix (formerly as the Good Company) has assisted MegaMex (formally Fresherized Foods) in its annual sustainability efforts providing executive sustainability strategy and overseeing the operational efforts in order for them to meet its greenhouse gas (GHG) and supply chain goals. Each year, we manage the GHG inventory process, quality control, and analysis. During this timeframe, we also conduct international supply chain analysis to identify changes to practices, climate risk, and conditions in the Western hemisphere that affect our client’s business operations.

Compiling and analyzing performance results and ongoing sustainability program work are part of our annual reporting work to CDP Supply Chain, CDP Water, Walmart’s Sustainability Index, and EcoVadis. Semi-annually we co-author a sustainability report with MegaMex outlining performance and detailing climate risk and opportunities. Additionally, we have also conducted a life-cycle analysis on the fruit used in their product to quantify the impact of agricultural emissions, the largest contribution to the company’s Scope 3 emissions. We also have a developed a low carbon transition plan (climate action plan) and two-page sustainability marketing pieces and web content that provides an overview to GHG, water, and energy performance.
