The existing Rainier Beach High School is being replaced with a new high school building on the same site. Construction is being phased to allow the school to continue on campus during the project. The new four-story high school, approximately 297,000 square feet, will provide permanent space for 1,600 students grades 9-12. A regional skills center is being incorporated into the project as well as a district data center.
Parametrix is serving as the owner’s representative and has provided alternative delivery advisory services for the GC/CM project. We are managing the design team and construction contractors, working closely together to ensure contractor activities are safe and don’t disrupt school operations.
