Rainier Beach High School

The existing Rainier Beach High School is being replaced with a new high school building on the same site. Construction is being phased to allow the school to continue on campus during the project. The new four-story high school, approximately 297,000 square feet, will provide permanent space for 1,600 students grades 9-12. A regional skills center is being incorporated into the project as well as a district data center.

Parametrix is serving as the owner’s representative and has provided alternative delivery advisory services for the GC/CM project. We are managing the design team and construction contractors, working closely together to ensure contractor activities are safe and don’t disrupt school operations. The project includes extensive racial equity and social justice outreach and engagement.
