Boulder Highway is one of Nevada’s oldest thoroughfares. A 7.5-mile stretch that runs through Henderson, Nevada is being reimagined. Thanks to visualizations created by Parametrix Civil FXTM modeling technology as a sub-consultant to Las Vegas Paving, you can see the future of the historic roadway. The project will implement several vital roadway improvements, including center-running transit lanes with enhanced passenger shelters, upgraded storm drain system, new traffic signals, improved lighting, elevated buffered bike lanes, and landscape treatments.

The city broke ground on the project on August 5 and construction is expected to last three years. A survey conducted by the city found that four out of five respondents agreed with the overall project concept.
