On August 17, Civil FX became a division of Parametrix. This partnership combines Parametrix’s expertise in engineering with Civil FX’s industry-leading interactive visualization capabilities. Meet and learn more about the seven talented individuals who have joined us in Las Vegas as Civil FX, A Division of Parametrix.

Wayne Sullivan

Wayne has over 20 years of experience in project visualization, specifically for civil infrastructure. He has produced thousands of renderings, photo composited renderings, animations and videos, and around 20 interactive projects using game engines that include augmented and virtual reality.

Personal: Married 16 years, have 15 and 13 year old sons, a 24 year old daughter, and a 200 lb. St Bernard. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing my guitar loud and am a lifetime Raiders fan.

What do you enjoy most about what you do? Seeing my team’s work featured on television or news websites is very fulfilling!

What are you looking forward to as an employee-owner at Parametrix? I am really liking all the people here; I think that is what makes this firm different and am glad to be a part of it now!

Szilvasi Gonzalez

Szilvasi has over three years of experience as a computer graphics (CG) artist. He specializes in 3D modeling, graphic design, video editing, light programming, and some app development.

Personal: I have two well-behaved cats and a gaming PC that I spend all my free time creating artwork on. I’m obsessed with games, movies and learning. History and science mostly.

What do you enjoy most about what you do? I like creating art. I enjoy the satisfaction I get when the project is coming together. I also enjoy analyzing the project and thinking how I can make it look better. I have high standards for my art.

What are you looking forward to as an employee-owner at Parametrix? I look forward to advancing in the company and hopefully building a good reputation for myself.

David Gould

David is experienced with image editing in Adobe Photoshop as well as modeling in Autodesk 3DSMax. He has also used Unity and Unreal Engine for asset placement. Some other areas of expertise include VRAY rendering and modeling in Autodesk Inventor.

Personal: I usually play video games with my girlfriend and our friends to relax on the weekends. We have a cat named Ash who usually is curled up in my lap while I am at my desk.

What do you enjoy most about what you do? I enjoy the variety of project and bringing each one to life.

What are you looking forward to as an employee-owner at Parametrix? I am looking forward to seeing new innovative designs and meeting the brilliant people behind them.

Justin Gould

Justin has over three years of experience in the Mobile Game Industry and the realm of infrastructure visualization. His expertise varies from 3D modeling to composite renders to game design.

Personal: I got married in June of 2019. I have a 7 year old son and another boy on the way. We currently have a dog, mouse, and a cockatiel. My hobbies include video games, reading, and self-improvement.

What do you enjoy most about what you do? I love the variety of tasks that come with my job. I also enjoy the opportunity to grow as both a person and an artist whenever I am faced with a new challenge.

What are you looking forward to as an employee-owner at Parametrix? I’m looking forward to getting my hands on different types of projects. Getting to know my new coworkers and growing as an artist.

Victory Igbinobaro

Victory holds a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from University of Nevada – Las Vegas and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture degree with a 2022 graduation date. His areas of expertise include design, CAD, BIM, real-time 3D visualization, 3D modelling, 3D printing, and digital fabrication. He is an FAA Licensed Drone Pilot with knowledge and expertise on the use of drones in the AEC industry.

Personal: I’m the youngest child of five. I was born in Nigeria and moved to the United States in 2017 as an international transfer undergraduate student. I am a huge dog person and I LOVE corgis, although I don’t have one… yet. I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, flying drones, gaming, debating, and reading history books.

What do you enjoy most about what you do? I enjoy seeing projects realized virtually in 3D before they undergo construction, then eventually seeing them built when possible. I also like working with a variety of 3D tools, both old and emerging, in achieving high quality project visualization goals. I enjoy having fun with my colleagues.

What are you looking forward to as an employee-owner at Parametrix? I look forward to collaborating with other employee-owners within the company to further utilize real-time 3D visualization in a variety of projects for improved graphic communication and public outreach. I’m also looking forward to seeing how Parametrix’s core values are reflected in company practices and projects.

Robert Loginov

Robert has nearly three years of industry experience, including two years with a tech company. His area of expertise is primarily software engineering and design. He has academic and practical experience in object-oriented programming and agile development, working on both independent and team-based projects.

Personal: My family originally moved to Cleveland, OH from Russia in 1974, which is where I was born. We then moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2004 and I’ve spent the majority of my life here (apart from attending the University of Nevada, Reno).

I have two dogs, both of which I’ve had around for around five years, and a cat that I’ve had close to twelve years.

Apart from programming, I really enjoy cooking! I especially like getting outside and barbequing or grilling. I hope I have the chance to break bread with everyone some time!

What do you enjoy most about what you do? I enjoy tackling large scale systems and identifying their individual components, such as the modules and layers that comprise software processes. I believe that understanding these methodologies helps to provide a basis for future projects across multiple types of applications.

What are you looking forward to as an employee-owner at Parametrix? I see great value in civil engineering as it impacts the daily lives of countless people. I hope to utilize my programming perspective within Parametrix to build upon existing infrastructures with new technologies.

Ivan Lopez

Ivan began his career two years ago with Civil FX. His area of expertise is primarily in using 3D modeling software to create buildings and other assets for scenes. He is also experienced in photo and video editing. He has used programs such as Maya, Max, Photoshop and Aftereffects.

Personal: I am the second oldest of four and the only son. I have a pet dog named Ace, and my hobbies include playing video games, watching anime, and discussing movies, tv shows and video games

What do you enjoy most about what you do? What I enjoy most is when all the pieces of a project come together. It feels like putting all the pieces of a puzzle in place and you get to see a scene come to life.

What are you looking forward to as an employee-owner at Parametrix? Mainly I am looking forward to seeing how the company culture is and just seeing how things will be going forward on this new path.
