Puyallup, WA – The City of Sumner has selected Parametrix to provide construction administration for the State Route 410/Traffic Avenue Interchange improvements project.

In recent decades, there has been tremendous growth in population and employment in the area surrounding the State Route 410/Traffic Avenue interchange. The two-lane bridge across State Route 410 has become a bottleneck, hampering the effectiveness of all the other transportation investments that have been made in the area.

The completed project will include a new parallel bridge. The interchange capacity will increase while filling the missing link in the non-motorized transportation system.

Parametrix has provided planning and design services for this project. The improvements are now fully funded and construction will begin this year. Parametrix has approximately 50 employee-owners in the Puget Sound region who provide construction administration services. Matt Collins, PE will serve as the project manager.
