Portland, OR – The Portland Business Journal publishes annual lists ranking engineering and environmental firms by size. This year, Parametrix ranked number nine on the engineering list and number ten for environmental.

Parametrix has 32 licensed engineers and 13 environmental professionals in the Portland metropolitan area. In total, there are 64 staff in the firm’s Portland office which specializes in transportation planning and design, environmental compliance and remediation, water and wastewater, and bridges and structures.

Some of the firm’s recent local projects include Tri-Met’s MAX Red Line Extension, Metro’s Southwest Corridor Light Rail Extension, Multnomah County’s Burnside Bridge, and the City of Portland’s Broadway and 94th Pump Station.
