Portland, OR – Shane Phelps and Jen Murphy, PE, CSE have been promoted to leadership positions in Parametrix’s Oregon Environmental and Water practices, respectively.
Phelps has 23 years of industry experience, 11 of which have been with Parametrix. Prior to being named Oregon Environmental Planning and Compliance Division Manager, he served as Planning Group Lead. His experience has been focused on helping clients throughout the Pacific Northwest navigate National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) processes and other environmental regulatory requirements for a variety of project types including transportation and transit, water and wastewater infrastructure, and energy transmission and distribution.
“Shane has been working with the team and other stakeholders to grow our business and make Parametrix a great place to work. His commitment to staff and clients is outstanding” stated Oregon Operations Manager, Richard Roché, RG, LHG.
Murphy, who has been named Oregon Water Group Manager, has been with Parametrix for over two years and has 13 years of experience in the construction and design industries, with the last eight years focused on facilities and infrastructure across the water industries. According to Murphy, she “receives immense enjoyment collaborating with junior staff, colleagues, and clients to develop individual, corporate, and institutional capabilities and solutions.”
“Jen has taken on many responsibilities during her time at Parametrix including client and staff development, project delivery, and business planning. She has worked tirelessly to deliver on current projects while developing strategic relationships and winning new work” said Roché.
Parametrix’s Oregon region includes offices in Portland and Bend comprised of nearly 100 staff providing services in general civil engineering, surveying, transportation planning and design, structural engineering, water, and environmental planning and compliance.
