Seattle, WA – Engineering News Record has released its annual Top Environmental Firms list, which ranks firms based on revenue for environmental services performed in the previous year. This year Parametrix was ranked number 164, up from a ranking of 169 last year. Parametrix has been ranked in the top 200 environmental firms since 2003.

The firm’s environmental specialties include biological sciences and Endangered Species Act, ecosystems, industrial compliance, investigation and remediation, National Environmental Policy Act documentation, and solid and hazardous waste.

Nearly half of Parametrix’s environmental revenue came from environmental sciences and planning, a quarter from wastewater and stormwater, and the remaining quarter from water supply and treatment, hazardous and solid waste, and other miscellaneous categories.

According to Engineering News Record, this year’s top firms had a record-breaking combined total revenue of $57.24 billion, an increase of 7.3% from the previous year.
