Seattle, WA – The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) announced its 2021-2022 Board of Directors and Executive Committee during the association’s national conference September 11 – 14 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Anne Timmermans, CCM, a Senior Construction Manager at Parametrix, was elected as Vice Chair of the Executive Committee. She will be responsible for financial planning and committee oversight.
Timmermans presents an award to the Southern California chapter with CMAA President & CEO Andrea Rutledge during the 2021 National CMAA Conference.
Timmermans has been an active member of the Pacific Northwest CMAA Chapter since 2010 and has served as Secretary, Vice President, and then President from 2015 to 2018. She was elected Chapter Relations Chair on the National CMAA Board in 2019. In this role, she assisted all chapters nationwide, with a particular focus on Minnesota, Colorado, San Diego, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Idaho.
At Parametrix, Timmermans leads the firm’s Seattle and Bremerton Project Management/Construction Management practices. She has 17 years of experience as a construction manager, focused on vertical construction with heavy civil infrastructure components, right-of-way easements, mega building components, and complex utility coordination. Her project experience totals over $2.5 billion in capital construction in the Pacific Northwest. She is a recipient of the 2012 Building Design & Construction Magazine “40 under 40” award.
