Bremerton, WA – The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Olympic Region has selected Parametrix for the removal of five fish passage barriers in the Gorst area south of Bremerton.

This bundle of fish passage barrier removals is part of the 2013 injunction to remove 90 percent of fish barriers in Washington State by 2030. The bundle of crossings will be delivered through a pre-National Environmental Policy Act Design-Build process.

Teaming partners include HDR, Art Anderson, HWA GeoSciences, Osborn Consulting, Ott-Sakai Associates, PRR, and Stell Environmental.

Parametrix has been working with WSDOT on the removal of 24 fish passage barriers in the Olympic Region over the last two and a half years.
