Seattle, WA – The Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association (PNCWA) presented Parametrix’s John Phillips with the Stormwater Professional Excellence Award during the annual conference in Boise, ID on September 15, 2021.
The award recognizes individuals for outstanding performance, professionalism, and contributions to the stormwater profession. Recipients are recognized for outstanding achievements in stormwater design, stormwater management, watershed management, and green infrastructure.
Phillips serves as Parametrix’s Director of Integrated Watershed Management. He is a past PNCWA Board Member and past President. He helped to form the organization’s Stormwater Committee.
He is credited with managing King County’s evaluation of climate change on infrastructure. He also led green stormwater infrastructure implementation for the wastewater treatment division.
At Parametrix, Phillips guides the firm’s integrated approach to infrastructure development and natural resources in watershed planning, management, restoration, and climate change adaptation. He assists clients in the identification and development of solutions for combined and sanitary sewer overflows to meet consent decree and discharge standards.
