Kirk Paulsen, PE has joined Parametrix as a Senior Engineer. He has over 10 years of experience designing transportation projects throughout Oregon, Washington, and California.
Kirk comes to Parametrix from Alta Planning + Design where he served as a transportation design engineer. He specializes in active transportation design including on-street and separated bikeways, enhanced pedestrian environments, as well as off-street multi-use paths. He holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering with an emphasis on sustainable transportation engineering.
At Parametrix, he joins the transportation team in Portland, providing transportation and environmental planning, urban design, and traffic engineering services to the City of Vancouver, WA; Oregon Department of Transportation; and other clients across the Western United States.
