Mitch Romero, AIA, LEED AP, CCM Joins Parametrix

Puyallup, WA – Mitch Romero, AIA, LEED AP, CCM has joined Parametrix as a Senior Construction Manager based in Puyallup, WA. He has 30 years of experience in architecture, project management, and construction management.

Romero comes to Parametrix from OAC Services where he was a Senior Director. His recent project experience includes serving as primary manager for a biotech manufacturing company in Wilsonville, OR and project manager for the Tokeland, WA Tsunami Tower. He is highly experienced in Washington State alternative delivery methods. His general contractor/construction manager (GCCM) projects include major renovation and infrastructure upgrades for the Spokane International Airport. He has also delivered 13 public school projects using GCCM.

Previously, Romero served as Foreign Service Construction Engineer for the United States Department of State. He used traditional design build to deliver diplomatic facilities in Brazil, Afghanistan, NATO Brussels, Nigeria, and Djibouti. Prior to that he was an architect and program manager for Heery/CBRE working for Seattle Schools, Oak Harbor Schools, Lake Washington School District, and a series of projects for the United States Department of Homeland Security.

At Parametrix, he joins the firm’s community building division, providing project and construction management services to public and private clients in the Puget Sound region.
