Tacoma, WA – Jim Dugan has been promoted to division manager, overseeing the firm’s Tacoma owner’s representative office. Dugan has been with Parametrix for over 20 years and was a founding member of the firm’s Tacoma office.
His experience includes managing the planning, design, engineering, and construction of industrial, commercial, and institutional projects across the public and private sectors. He has managed the design and construction of multiple K–12 educational and public-sector programs using alternative project delivery methods.
Dugan served on the Tacoma Public Schools Board of Education between 2005 and 2011. He is now in his tenth year serving on the Washington State Project Review Committee and has served as Vice Chair and Chair. He has frequently been requested by industry organizations to plan and facilitate workshops on the use of alternative project delivery, including the American Public Works Association, the Design-Build Institute of America, the Washington Association of Maintenance and Operations Administrators, and the Washington City/County Management Association.
“Jim has built a strong reputation within the community for providing outstanding client service and delivering impactful projects. I look forward to collaborating with him as we continue to expand our owner’s representative services to school districts and other public agencies throughout the region,” said Matt Kastberg, Regional Division Manager at Parametrix.
In his new role, Dugan will provide business development and staff mentorship while he continues to manage and deliver projects.
