Seattle, WA – Engineering News Record Northwest has released their 2021 list of top design firms based on revenue generated in 2020. The list includes firms in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. Parametrix was ranked 6^th overall this year, up from number 8 in 2020. The firm also ranked as the 4^th largest design firm in Washington State and 7^th in Oregon. The list also ranks firms by sector. Parametrix ranked 5^th in transportation, 5^th in education, and 6^th in water and wastewater.

Parametrix has nine Northwest offices with 141 licensed professional engineers. The firm’s largest project to break ground in the region in 2020 was the Redmond Link Extension in Redmond, WA. In 2020, Parametrix’s Northwest offices generated over $111 million in design revenue. 65% of that revenue came from transportation projects, 15% from sewerage and solid waste, and 8% from general building.
