Parametrix Ranked a 2022 Top Design Firm

Seattle, WA – Engineering News Record has released its annual Top Design Firms list, which ranks firms based on revenue for design services performed in the previous year. This year Parametrix was ranked number 140. Parametrix has been ranked in the top 500 design firms since 1998.
For the sixth consecutive year, total revenue for the top 500 listed firms increased, rising 2.2% to $107.11 billion in 2021. Median firm revenue also rebounded after a dip last year, rising 3.8%, to $67.45 million.
The transportation market continued to be Parametrix’s largest source of revenue. The firm also generated significant revenue in water, sewer and waste, and general building markets.
Some of the firm’s largest projects in 2021 were Twenty-four Fish Passage Improvement Projects for the Olympic Region of Washington State Department of Transportation; the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program for the Washington State and Oregon Departments of Transportation; SH-16 Phase 2 and I-84 Franklin Interchange to Karcher Interchange for Idaho Transportation Department; MAX Red Line Final Design for TriMet; Interbay Steel Forcemain Replacement for King County, WA; Biological Process Improvements for LOTT Clean Water Alliance; and US 180 Alignment Study for the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
