Parametrix Ranked a Top Design Firm

Seattle, WA – Engineering News Record has released its annual Top Design Firms list, which ranks firms based on revenue for design services performed in the previous year. This year Parametrix was ranked number 166. Parametrix has been ranked in the top 500 design firms since 2003.
The market continued to grow steadily in 2019. The top 500 design firms had a record total design revenue of $103.24 billion, up 2.1% from the previous year.
In 2019, over 60% of Parametrix’s design revenue was generated from transportation projects, with the remainder divided among water, wastewater, and general building projects.
Some of the firm’s largest projects last year were TriMet’s Southwest Corridor Transit Design, Washington State Department of Transportation’s I-5 Mounts Road to Thorne Lane Corridor Improvements, and King County’s Interbay Steel Forcemain Replacement project.
