Parametrix Ranks Among Top Design Firms in West, Southwest, and Mountain States

Seattle, WA — Engineering News-Record (ENR) has released their 2025 regional Top Design Firms lists. Parametrix ranked No. 15 in the west and No. 43 in the southwest and mountain states.

The ENR West rankings are based on revenue generated in California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, and Alaska. By state, Parametrix ranked No. 4 in Washington, No. 8 in Oregon, and No. 15 in Nevada. By category, Parametrix came in at No. 8 in civil engineering, No. 6 in water supply, and No. 11 in transportation and commercial.

In the west, Parametrix has offices in San Diego and San Francisco, California; Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada; Seattle, Tacoma, Puyallup, Mukilteo, Bremerton, Vancouver, and Spokane, Washington; and Portland and Bend, Oregon. Significant projects include the Interstate Bridge Replacement program for the Oregon and Washington departments of transportation, the Mouth of Duwamish program for King County, on-call services for Sound Transit, improvements to I-5 from Mounts Road to Thorne Lane Corridor for the Washington State Department of Transportation, and Olympic Region Fish Passage Improvements for the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The ENR Mountain States and Southwest rankings are based on revenue generated in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. In 2024, the firm generated over $24 million in design revenue in the region.

The firm’s offices in the region are located in Coeur d’Alene and Boise, Idaho; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Salt Lake City, Utah. Significant projects include SH-16 Phase 3 for the Idaho Transportation Department, Paseo Del Volcan from Rainbow to Southern for the New Mexico Department of Transportation; Ustick from Can Ada Road to Owyhee Storm Avenue for the City of Nampa, Idaho; and I-40 Corridor Study from the Arizona State Line to Atrisco Boulevard for the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
