Seattle, WA – Sarah Ogier has joined Parametrix as Vice President overseeing the firm’s water and environmental planning and compliance practices in the Puget Sound region. She has over 20 years of experience in natural resources and utility management, including drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, and stormwater.
Ogier comes to Parametrix from the City of Bellevue Utilities Department where she served as Utilities Policy Advisor. In this role, she advocated for Bellevue Utilities in regional forums and partnerships. She also helped charter the Employees of Bellevue for Racial and Cultural Equity group.
Prior to that, she worked for the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks. There she established and led the Office of Sustainability and Innovation for the Wastewater Treatment Division, advised the County on the Lower Duwamish Superfund site, and managed several environmental programs including ecosystem capital projects planning, salmon recovery interlocal teams, natural lands acquisition, and groundwater protection. In this role she served on the King County Wastewater Equity and Social Justice Team as well as serving as an advisor on the Center for Sustainable Infrastructure Board of Trustees.
Ogier earned a Master of Urban Planning in Water Resources Management & Planning from the University of Washington.
