Stephanie Miller Rejoins Parametrix

Albuquerque, NM – Transportation planner, project manager, and communications specialist Stephanie Miller has rejoined Parametrix after serving as a Senior Planner at HNTB for three years.
Miller previously worked at Parametrix from 2000 to 2017. She has 25 years of experience serving clients throughout the Western United States. She helps clients navigate complex planning, environmental, and decision-making processes for transportation
projects. She is experienced in developing transportation planning studies and environmental documents that comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), facilitating meetings, building consensus, and developing approaches and materials
to convey technical information to the public.
She has trained environmental professionals nationally on the fundamentals of improving the quality of NEPA documents. She has also served on national advisory panels in 2006 and 2014 with the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials
(AASHTO) and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) to develop guidance to improve the quality of NEPA documents.
Her project experience includes:
- Developing the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s first Highway Design Manual
- Developing an environmental and conceptual engineering study for an emergency roadway reconstruction project on NM-159 in Mogollon, NM
- Managing the development of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the San Juan Basin Energy Connect Project between Farmington, New Mexico and Durango, Colorado
- Serving as the deputy program environmental manager for $2 billion worth of proposed improvements on the 50-mile I-405/SR 167 Corridor in Washington State
She joins the firm’s Albuquerque office and will work on projects throughout the Southwest region from her home in Colorado. “I’m excited to be back working at Parametrix and serving clients in the Southwest,” said Miller.
