Seattle, WA – Wyn Folsome has joined Parametrix as a Senior Construction Manager based out of Bremerton, WA. He has 31 years of experience working in both the public and private sector in various roles including construction inspector, resident engineer, and project manager.
Folsome joins Parametrix from Red Barn Engineering where he served as a Senior Construction Manager and Inspector.
He has worked for clients such as Sound Transit, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), Seattle Department of Transportation, Seattle Public Utilities, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
Folsome has diverse experience in light rail, shipyard work, high-voltage traction power systems, seismic retrofits, including carbon fiber and epoxy compounds, fiber optics, runway lighting, baggage handling systems, automated fare collection, and single and multi-family housing. His project experience includes:
- Seattle Department of Transportation Lander Bridge Project – Senior Inspector
- Seattle Department of Transportation 7th Avenue Bike Path – Resident Engineer
- AMTRAK/Sound Transit/WSDOT Cascade Station – Project Engineer
- Sound Transit Angle Lake Station and Garage – Senior Inspector
At Parametrix, Folsome joins the firm’s Community Building practice. He is currently providing construction management support to WSDOT’s SR 520 program.
