Seattle City Light owns and operates a hydroelectric facility, Boundary Dam, located on the Pend Oreille River to supply power to its customers. Parametrix is performing bi-annual surveys including full deflection surveys measuring all deflection survey points on the downstream face and upstream top of parapet wall at Boundary Dam. A collimation survey is also performed utilizing the collimation survey points at the top of Boundary Dam. The data collected in these surveys is combined with historical data from Seattle City Light to develop graphs/plots depicting a visual representation of temperature cycling of Boundary Dam.
