The purpose of the Downtown Access Project is to address aging infrastructure, safety, and congestion to increase the efficiency of the movement on I-515/US-95 through downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as revitalize and reconnect the community. Improvements will address aging bridges, closely spaced ramps that create short merge and weave distance, and unacceptable congestion caused by increased traffic volumes on a freeway structure not built for this capacity.

Parametrix is providing visualizations to illustrate how the various alternatives being considered fit in the real world at real scale. They also show how the complicated designs will function and how they differ from each other. These visualizations have been used at public meetings and to help with project decision-making.
