This project repaired an existing revetment on the left bank of the Snoqualmie River to protect properties and structures along the roadway and stabilize a city water main and buried utility infrastructure under the roadway. Parametrix provided construction management services. The project provided slope stability, habitat restoration, and scour protection. Improvements included removing rusted automobile frames from the existing revetment, in-water installation of timber piles and armoring for stabilization, reinforced fill placement with geogrid, mass excavation, installation of a storm outfall pipe, restoration plantings, coir rows, live stake plantings, replacement of affected utilities, trail construction, roadway and pedestrian improvements, and restoration planting.

Construction management services included leading weekly meetings, constructability reviews, bid support, change management, risk management, schedule review, RFI submittals, inspection, and construction administration and document control. We also led coordination with tribes, utilities, and other stakeholders.
