SH 78 Browns Creek Bridge

In support of the Browns Creek Bridge project’s Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act obligations, Parametrix performed an archaeological and architectural resources review of the project’s Area of Potential Effects (APE). The archaeological review included both pedestrian and the excavation of shovel test pits. These investigations documented one previously undocumented archaeological resource and verified the dimensions and condition of three previously documented resources located within the APE. Parametrix summarized the findings of these efforts in a cultural resources technical report and recommended a finding of no adverse effects to historic properties. This finding was presented to the Idaho State Historic Preservation Office and consulting parties and received concurrence.
