Washoe County is initiating a transportation study for the Incline Village and Crystal Bay areas in coordination with six partner agencies. Parametrix developed the multimodal transportation plan with a primary focus on pedestrian and bicycle safety, such as improving bus stops and multiuse paths. The project included a combination of in-person and digital outreach to engage the public. An online survey and interactive map gathered hundreds of location-specific comments from members of the community to guide the study. Parametrix facilitated an advisory committee to strengthen collaboration among the six partner agencies. Plan recommendations included pedestrian and bicycle improvements to better connect key community destinations, including parks, schools, and transit.
