Jenifer Young Rejoins Parametrix

Seattle, WA – Parametrix has hired Jenifer Young as the Environmental Planning and Compliance Division Manager for the firm’s Puget Sound Region. She previously served in this role from 2015 through 2018, when she relocated to New York City where she worked for VHB. She returns to the Seattle area to rejoin Parametrix and further build the firm’s National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) practice. Young has over 30 years of experience in preparing and managing environmental impact statements and related analyses for a wide variety of development projects. Her areas of expertise include environmental and regulatory strategy; management of NEPA and SEPA review for major transportation, development, and utility projects; the assessment of social and community impacts; and the integration of environmental review and public outreach processes. While at VHB, she co-led a firmwide NEPA initiative, working with NEPA practitioners on leadership and staff development. Her previous project experience includes work for the Washington State Department of Transportation on projects such as the State Route 520, I-5 to Medina Bridge Replacement. Young served as environmental manager for this $4.3 billion multimodal corridor project. Liz Kelly, PE, PMP, CRL Joins Parametrix as Puget Sound Senior Vice President, Growing Water Practice

Seattle, WA – Parametrix has hired Liz Kelly, PE, PMP, CRL as Senior Vice President overseeing the firm’s Puget Sound region, including offices in Seattle, Puyallup, Tacoma, and Bremerton. Kelly has 30 years of experience in water, wastewater, drainage, and solid waste utilities work. She comes to Parametrix from Jacobs where she led the firm’s North America Water Sector Asset Management practice and was also the U.S. West regional lead for the Strategic Consulting operation. She has provided management consulting services to many clients across the west, including Portland Water Bureau, Portland Bureau of Environmental Services, Sound Transit, Central Utah Water Conservancy District, Bellevue Utilities, King County, and the cities of Vancouver and Redmond. Prior to consulting Liz was with Seattle Public Utilities for over 20 years, where she was instrumental in successful delivery of the Tolt and Cedar Water Treatment Facilities Design-Build-Operate projects. She served as Director of Project Management and Engineering from 2009 to 2013 and was Director of Corporate Asset Management from 2004-2009.  She serves on the Council of Advisors for the non-profit Center for Sustainable Infrastructure and is a member of the American Water Works Association Strategic Management Practices Committee.
