Parametrix selected to lead New Mexico portion of Ports-to-Plains corridor study

Albuquerque, N.M. – The New Mexico Department of Transportation has selected Parametrix to complete a corridor study and planning services for the New Mexico portion of the Ports-to-Plains corridor. This route is the future Interstate 27 through northeast New Mexico.   The study will explore converting the existing four-lane U.S. Route 64/87 corridor between Raton, New Mexico, and the Texas state line to interstate standards. Congress designated the corridor as a future interstate in 2022 and numbered the interstate I-27 in 2024.  The approximately 100-mile corridor in New Mexico will include a new system interchange in Raton
