Jennifer Valentine Joins Parametrix

Las Vegas, NV – Jennifer Valentine has joined Parametrix as a Senior Transportation Planner. She has 17 years of industry experience in transportation and transit planning, regional transportation plan development, and public outreach. She holds a Master of City and Regional Planning degree.Valentine comes to Parametrix from the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) in Arizona where she was a Transportation Planner and Project Manager. At MAG she managed several transit plans and studies, including regional bus rapid transit and commuter bus feasibility studies, and oversaw the scenario planning process for the organization’s long range transportation plan. She previously worked in consulting, and for several public sector agencies in Colorado, including the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments, the Boulder County Transportation Department, and Routt County. Most of her previous work has focused on transit planning, pedestrian and bicycle planning, and long-range transportation planning. At Parametrix, Valentine joins the firm’s Las Vegas office, which includes 10 staff providing transportation planning, engineering, and visualization services. Anne Timmermans, CCM Elected to National Construction Management Association of America Executive Committee

Seattle, WA – The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) announced its 2021-2022 Board of Directors and Executive Committee during the association’s national conference September 11 – 14 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Anne Timmermans, CCM, a Senior Construction Manager at Parametrix, was elected as Vice Chair of the Executive Committee. Seattle, WA – Engineering News Record has released its annual Top Environmental Firms list. Parametrix has appeared on the list every year since 2003. The firm ranked 142, up from 169 in 2020. Rankings are based on 2020 revenue generated from environmental services.Environmental services accounted for 42% of the firm’s overall revenue. Of that environmental revenue, environmental science and wastewater treatment services made up 85%. The remainder was generated by hazardous waste, water supply and treatment, and environmental management services. Parametrix Grows Puget Sound Water Practice

Seattle, WA – Parametrix has added four new staff to their Puget Sound region water division. Tom Messana, Dave Moss, PE, Chris Hiatt, PE, and Jake Linke, PE join the group of approximately 50 professional providing drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, flood control, and electrical services.Tom Messana joins the firm’s Puyallup, WA office as a Senior Consultant. He has over 40 years of experience providing program, project, and engineering management for electrical and industrial projects. His project experience spans multiple industries, nationally and internationally. He comes to Parametrix from Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Inc. via Parker, Messana & Associates, Inc. (PMA Engineering) which he owned and operated for 25 years. Dave Moss, PE returns to Parametrix as a Senior Consultant based out of Puyallup, WA. He has over 40 years of experience working on municipal and industrial water resources projects. He previously was part of Parametrix’s Portland office, providing environmental consulting services. Most recently he served as the Water Reclamation Manager and Capital Projects Manager for Spokane County’s Environmental Services Department. Chris Hiatt, PE joins the Seattle, WA office as a Senior Engineer. He has 18 years of experience providing engineering design and construction services for cities, counties, and water and sewer districts. His project experience includes pipelines, pump stations, on-site stormwater collection, building/facility upgrades, and planning. He has 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a structural focus, working primarily on marine structures.
